Croydon College Group—made up of Croydon College and Coulsdon Sixth Form College—was praised by Ofsted in its 2024 inspection for delivering a supportive, ambitious and safe learning environment.

Under the updated enhanced inspection framework, 14 inspectors visited both campuses and awarded the Group a ‘Good’ rating in every area, including:

  • Quality of education
  • Behaviour and attitudes
  • Personal development
  • Leadership and management
  • Provision for young people, adults and apprentices

Inspectors highlighted that students feel safe “as soon as they walk into college” and that the colleges act as a “safe haven” for learners. They also noted highly motivated students, strong professional behaviours and teaching that is ambitious, challenging and expertly planned.
