Celebrating the Best of Croydon’s Young People

The 2026 Croydon Youth Awards was a truly inspiring evening that brought together young people, families, schools, colleges, community groups and local organisations from across the borough to celebrate the incredible achievements of Croydon’s young people.

Hosted at Fairfield Halls, the event showcased the talent, determination, leadership and positive contributions that young people make every day. From inspiring award winners and nominees to outstanding live performances, the evening highlighted the very best of our borough and demonstrated the bright future that lies ahead.

The Croydon Youth Awards continues to be a celebration of young people who are making a difference. Whether through academic achievement, volunteering, overcoming personal challenges, sporting excellence, creative talent or community leadership, every nominee had a story worth celebrating.

One of the most powerful aspects of the evening was seeing young people recognised by their peers, teachers, youth workers and community leaders. The awards provided an opportunity to shine a spotlight on achievements that often go unnoticed and to celebrate the positive impact young people are having throughout Croydon.

We would like to thank everyone who made the event possible, including our sponsors, partners, volunteers, performers, judges, schools, colleges, youth organisations and, most importantly, the young people themselves. Your passion, commitment and enthusiasm made the evening unforgettable.

Why the Croydon Youth Awards Matter

Too often, young people are defined by negative headlines. The Croydon Youth Awards exists to tell a different story. It recognises the resilience, ambition, kindness and talent that can be found in every corner of our borough.

The event not only celebrates success but also inspires the next generation, encouraging young people to believe in themselves, pursue their goals and make a positive contribution to their communities.
